Symptoms and Characteristics of Ganglion Cyst

1. Lump or mass: There is usually a palpable lump or mass in the affected area, varying in size, which may cause local swelling and tenderness.

2. Pain: There may be pain or discomfort in the affected area, which will be aggravated by movement or pressure.

3. Limited Movement: Due to the presence of the mass and possible pain, the patient may experience limited joint movement, especially near the affected joint.

4. Local heat sensation: Sometimes there will be a local heat sensation, accompanied by swelling and pain, which may be caused by an inflammatory reaction.

5. Joint Dysfunction: In severe cases, cysts may cause impairment of joint function, affecting daily activities and quality of life.

6. Tenderness and local sensitivity: Tenderness and local sensitivity often occur in the affected area, and slight touch or pressure can cause discomfort or pain.

7. Deformation: Long-term presence of cysts may cause deformation of local tissue, affecting appearance and function.

8. Combined with other symptoms: In some cases, joint ganglion cyst may be accompanied by other symptoms, such as redness, swelling, fever, infection, etc., which require timely treatment.
